Greetings
and Salutations!!And of course..Howdy Friends!!!! Greetings
and Salutations!!And of course..Howdy Friends!!!! Well..we all made it
to 2010!!That's a good thing..Right??I'd like to thank all of you that
continue to support the cause. We had a "Workingman's" like year and
that's ok.We welcomed Terry Dry back on bass recently and are still in
search of a full time lead guitar player but are very fortunate to have
any of these guys-- Sam Dunlap,Orq,Adam Burchfield and Steve Hitt as
part of our current live shows. We'd also like to thank all of the folks
that continue to book us in the Houston area and we also look forward
to travelling more in this New Year. We'd like to say thanks to
29-95.com for naming our first CD "3 Chords & a Cloud of Dust" as
one of their Top 100 releases of the decade...here's what they said.....
3 Chords and A Cloud of Dust, 2001 -- I didn't want the decade to pass
without a mention of one of the few blues-rock/classic rock bands I find
palatable. Instead of another cheesy, SRV-wannabe wank, Snit and crew idolize
the Georgia Satellites and make tireless southern, bluesy rock that goes down
very smooth with a cold beer on a hot Houston night. Snit is a member of the
still-gigging Hollisters and still holds down the fort at Shakespeare Pub a few
times each month. Available on iTunes,
recommended track: Acceptance and Respect. -- S.C.
